Interest in Animal Behavior
My interest in animal behavior began with my own dogs. One was adopted as a puppy with a history of severe trauma and maternal loss, and the other came to me through rehoming. I witnessed firsthand how expert guidance and tailored interventions gave them confidence, helped them overcome challenges, and ultimately allowed them to live happier, more fulfilled lives. In my veterinary practice, I see so many pets struggling in similar ways—pets whose owners care deeply but don’t have access to science-based strategies for emotional and behavioral well-being. I’ve become passionate about using my training and experience to help these pets and their families, fostering confidence, happiness, and a stronger human-animal bond in the process.
