Ross University Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior

Ross University Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior

Chapter Description

Our mission is to share accurate, science-based education and information regarding animal behaviour as it relates to veterinary medicine. To promote minimally aversive experiences for our patients and integrate knowledge of animal behaviour into clinical practice for improved safety and efficacy for all parties. Our club aims to integrate a strong understanding of veterinary behaviour across all species to improve the quality and efficacy of our medicine. Understanding how behaviour plays a significant role in the QOL and outcomes of our patients is an integral part of veterinary medicine that is often overlooked or forgotten about. A SAVSAB chapter at Ross will fill that gap by providing practical, relevant, and essential info for the entire student body.
