- Profile
I am a primary care practitioner with over 21 years of experience in a multi-doctor small animal hospital followed by work as a clinical associate professor within a veterinary teaching hospital. I seek out 25-50 hours + of high quality continuing education annually in behavior taught by experts in the field and use this knowledge to manage canine and feline behavior patients as primary care behavior cases, as well as referrals for more challenging behavior cases.
I work with both positive reinforcement trainers and board certified veterinarians when needed for challenging cases, such as those involving aggression. I have experience in both environmental and the most up-to-date psychopharmacological therapies for patients with behavioral concerns.
