Art and Science of Animal Training Conference

Speakers for the February 2017 conference: Dr. Peter Killeen, Ken Ramirez, Emily Larlham, Steve White, Alexandra Kurland, Dr. Paul Andronis, Barbara Heidenreich, Dr. Jesús Rosales-Ruiz, and Karen Pryor.
This year’s conference will have two themes. On the first day of the conference, keynote speaker Dr. Peter Killeen will present about the Premack principle. This will be followed by a series of presentations about the Premack principle and about how reinforcement works. On the second day of the conference, we’ll be talking all about maintaining behaviors. Our speakers will discuss building long duration behaviors, dealing with distractions, effective use of reinforcers, and much more.
