Dr. Johnson is a general practitioner with a special interest in behavioral health and low stress handling. Her qualifications include Elite Fear Free Certification, Low Stress Handling Silver Certification, and Cat Friendly Veterinarian Certification. She is a supporting member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, serving on their ethics committee and as a peer-reviewer for the IAABC Journal. Dr. Johnson offers remote behavior consulting as well as vet-to-vet consultation in addition to wellness care. She spends her free time working on Committed to Claws, an education project that provides pet owners and pet professionals with resources to reduce the incidence of onychectomy.
Wellness services, such as vaccines and parasite prevention, are provided through VIP Petcare Community Clinics and VetIQ Wellness Centers throughout the state of Ohio.
