The Veterinary Behavior Symposium (VBS) was held July 10, 2015 in Boston, MA.  This well attended meeting featured a intriguing keynote address “An Ethological Approach to Understanding Animal Behavior” by Dr. Ray Coppinger, and a day full of research papers on a wide variety of topics including ‘Outdoor Containment Systems for Dogs’, The Use of Trazodone to Reduce Feline Anxiety During Travel and Veterinary Exams,  Tail Mutilation in Cats; Advanced Imaging Findings, Post Traumatic Stress in Athletic Horses and many others.

Mark the date for next year’s VBS to be held on August 4, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas in conjunction with the annual meeting of the AVMA.   We hope to see you there!
