Dr. Jaak Panksepp is our keynote speaker!
The American College of Veterinary Behaviorists (ACVB) is excited to announce our keynote speaker for this year’s Behavior Symposium is Dr. Jaak Panksepp, neuroscientist, psychobiologist, and author of the well known text Affective Neuroscience and other texts on biological psychology. Don’t miss this great speaker, as well as the latest scientific presentations on current research in the field of animal behavior. Friday August 5, 2016 in San Antonio, TX in conjunction with the convention of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Registration opens in early April. A number of ACVB Diplomates are also hosting hands-on wet labs during the AVMA convention. The labs will cover a variety of topics including: low stress handling for cats, running a great puppy class, counterconditioning to veterinary procedures and others. Hope to see you there!
